Plagiarism and Misconduct
The Journal of Artificial Intelligence in Fluid Dynamics is dedicated to upholding the highest standards of integrity and ethics in scholarly publishing. To maintain the integrity of research published in the journal, authors are expected to adhere to the following policies regarding plagiarism and misconduct:
- Plagiarism: Plagiarism, including the verbatim copying of text, ideas, or data from other sources without proper citation, is strictly prohibited. Authors must ensure that their work is original and properly attributed to the original source.
- Self-Plagiarism: Authors should not reuse their previously published work without proper citation. If authors wish to include any previously published material in their manuscript, they must obtain permission from the original publisher and clearly cite the source.
- Data Fabrication and Falsification: Authors must accurately report their research findings and provide genuine and authentic data. Fabrication or falsification of data is considered misconduct and will result in rejection of the manuscript or retraction of the published article.
- Authorship: All individuals who have made significant contributions to the research should be listed as authors. Authors should ensure that all co-authors have agreed to the submission of the manuscript and share responsibility for its content.
- Conflict of Interest: Authors should disclose any financial or personal relationships that may influence the research or its interpretation. Conflicts of interest should be declared in the manuscript.
- Peer Review: Reviewers and editors are responsible for identifying and addressing any instances of plagiarism or misconduct during the peer review process. Authors should cooperate fully with reviewers and editors and provide any additional information or clarification as requested.
- Consequences of Misconduct: If plagiarism or misconduct is detected in a submitted manuscript or published article, the journal reserves the right to take appropriate action, including rejection of the manuscript, retraction of the article, and notification of the author's institution and funding agencies.
